For women and girls, this commitment involves advocating for their rights, opportunities, and well-being. It's about breaking down barriers that limit their potential and empowering them to pursue their dreams. From championing education to supporting mental and physical health, the goal is to ensure that women and girls are not only heard but also given the resources and freedom to thrive in every aspect of life.
In parallel, the commitment to animals is rooted in my profound respect for their lives and well-being. Advocating for animals means promoting kindness, respect, and ethical treatment across all spheres of society. Whether it's working toward ending cruelty in industries, supporting wildlife conservation, or ensuring the protection of domestic animals, the goal is to raise awareness about the vulnerabilities animals face and the importance of a compassionate approach to their care. Friends of Ngong Road
Friends of Ngong Road is an organization dedicated to helping young girls in Kenya transform their lives by providing them with education and support, leading to employment. Through its programs, the organization offers scholarships to girls who might otherwise be unable to attend school, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty. Education is the key to unlocking their potential, and Friends of Ngong Road ensures that these girls have resources and mentorship that they need to succeed socially, academically, and professionally.
Beyond educational sponsorship, the organization supports the holistic well-being of these girls. They offer mentorship, leadership development, and life skills training, ensuring that the girls grow into confident, empowered individuals who can pursue a career and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Friends of Ngong Road also works to address barriers such as access to sanitary products, nutrition, and health care, making sure that each girl’s basic needs are met so that they can focus on their studies and pursue their goals.
The organization’s impact extends far beyond the classroom. Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center
The Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center (SWCC) is committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and protection of native wildlife in Arizona. With a focus on mammals that are endangered, injured, or orphaned, the organization provides a sanctuary for animals that cannot be released back into the wild. SWCC plays a crucial role in ensuring that these animals have a safe and healthy environment where they can recover, thrive, and live out the rest of their lives.
Beyond rescue and rehabilitation, SWCC is deeply involved in wildlife conservation efforts. The organization educates the public about the importance of protecting local wildlife and preserving natural habitats.
